The Homewood Suites by Hilton Atlanta/Perimeter Center receives mixed reviews, with some guests praising its convenient location, spacious rooms, and helpful staff. However, a significant number of recent reviews highlight issues with cleanliness, maintenance, inconsistent service, and operational problems such as broken appliances and elevator malfunctions. The property appears to be struggling with staffing and communication between departments.

My husband and I had traveled to ATL for medical services and chose the Homewood Suited due to its convenience, accommodations, and affordability. We were even able to get early check-in which was wonderful! Location was great but our room/service sadly was not. Our fridge barely kept food cool, and our shower was nasty (see picture included). While we did report the shower to the front desk, it took housekeeping 3 hours to show up to clean it. Additionally, on our day of checkout, housekeeping came and asked if we were leaving around 9:20am, when checkout time was by 11am. I wish I could leave a more positive review but sadly this was the reality of our visit. We definitely would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to friends/family.

1. The room - broken furniture and poo on the bedding on the sofa. 2. Breakfast situation - Only one waffle station was provided for the entire hotel. Both the waffle iron and the batter maker were broken. So was the toaster. 3. The pool was closed with no open date available. 4. Some of the gym equipment didn't work. ****** Kudos to the front desk team: Winter, Charvin, Clara and Nixon. Special thanks to Winter for going the extra mile.

This hotel is going down hill little by little. They have nice managers but the staff no. The rooms are spacious and nice. The wifi is ALWAYS going in and out. Elevators alway breaking down. Smells of marijuana in the halls and stair case. Pool is nasty and heater doesn't work. Wouldn't recommend getting in it. The gym is ok a few machines don't work. Laundry room dryer was broken, had to dry clothes twice. The breakfast, it never changes. Always pork on the hot bar. Food that's supposed to be chilled on ice never is. Butter, cream cheese sits for hours. Which can make you sick if you eat it. Thought it was peanut free because my son is allergic and opened a muffin and saw walnuts. Remind you this is in with all of the morning pastries. The coffee taste watered down. Overheard staff complaining about a guest that was getting several plates. Which was very rude considering that the guest are paying for the food. Housekeeping is ridiculous. I asked a lady for towels and she said she didn't speak English. One day while in the shower one tried to enter my room. Then i had clothes on the floor with lose bills in them and it disappeared. So they definitely steal. The people at the front desk are ok. Sam I believe his name is was really nice. It's not a bad hotel but not up to Hilton standards that I've seen. We were only there for a weekend stay. I think next time in the area we will try another Hilton hotel

Room wasnt ready until 30 minutes after check-in. I got there an hour early and understood that checkin wasnt until 3 but the staff went ahead and notified the cleaning staff that i was there and ready for my room. Once it was passed checkin time i was given a bag of chips in the house as an incentive for waiting and i appreciated the gesture. You would think the room would be efficiently cleaned since the hotel wasnt very busy. I asked of they were short staffed on cleaning people and the employee at the desk said they “had plenty of people” . I brushed off the 30 minute checkin delay. When i got into the room the bathroom light barely worked, the shower wasnt cleaned at all as you can see from the pictures, and the shower gel bottle was empty. There was no working phone in the room (nor was there a working phone in the room they switched me to later), so i had to get dressed and go downstairs to let the desk know what was going on. Again the front desk showed empathy but it was obvious that there is a huge communication disconnect between the employees who clean the rooms and the rest of the staff. The following day i asked the front desk to please have the staff clean the bathroom which they took note of and assumingly communicated to the cleaning staff. When i arrived back and no one had cleaned the bathroom but the bed was made, i knew someone had been in the room so i didnt understand why the bathroom was still not tended to. This is when i asked for a room change. I was credited for a nights stay, but its obvious nothing much had changed, cause when the front desk tried to call the cleaning manager, they couldnt even reach them. By 2:50 pm all the cleaning staff were roaming the halls with their carts and it was obvious they dont start cleaning rooms until last minute which tells me none of these rooms get thoroughly cleaned. To top it off, i over heard another guest at the front desk upset about missing items from their room. On a positive note the rooms are very spacious but sadly i wont be returning for a stay here

My mother and I stayed here for seven days. We rented a car, but was unaware of the $10 daily fee for parking. The continental breakfast was pretty decent. They offered eggs with sausage or bacon, and then they also had a taco bar, which was either pulled chicken or pulled pork. I wasn’t a fan of either so I just stuck with the scrambled eggs and meat option. There’s a waffle maker, premade oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, toast, bagels pastries and fresh fruit fruits. Theres also orange and cranberry juice available, and a coffee station that’s open 24hours which is a plus. It wasn’t a fine dining experience, however, I wasn’t hungry after I ate. Customer service was outstanding! No matter what time of day it was, I always received a smile and greeting from the front desk. I did have a few issues though within my room. Different pieces of furniture was broken, and my toaster appliance caught on fire as I was trying to toast a bagel. Luckily enough, I was nearby to see it smoking so I unplugged it immediately and called the front desk requesting a new one. It was Easter weekend so it was a little overwhelming with crowds, so I had to ask about my toaster again the following day since I never received the replacement. The beds were pretty comfortable if you like your mattress and pillows on the softer side. They do have an indoor pool, however, it was closed for a maintenance for about four days out of my stay. I originally booked this location because of the indoor pool. The other hotels I saw online, had outside pools, but because of the season, they weren’t open yet, so even more reason why I booked this location with the indoor pool. I was pretty bummed that it was out of service for the last four days of my stay, so I only got to enjoy it twice. My overall experience honestly, I feel like they can definitely upgrade the rooms, and add new furniture as well as appliances. I enjoyed my stay to say the least, and the location is perfect. Very quiet area and you have restaurants and shopping stores within 5 min from the hotel.

This hotel was a good value, the room was spacious. The maintenance on the hotel was poor. Elevator buttons loose, one of the two elevators was broken. Breakfast, I had read, was hit or miss. I must have arrived on the “miss” date. The room was clean and location was great.

I was in Atlanta for the week on family business and needed access to a gym. Homewood Suites Perimeter Center hit all the points I was looking for - decent rate, WiFi and breakfast included, parking available, gym access. It's convenient to Ashford-Dunwoody and Sandy Springs and being near the mall means lots of conveniences - food, grocery store, pharmacy - all nearby. My initial experience was good. Check in on Saturday was fast and smooth, room looked OK on first pass. Next morning, I noticed some oddities: one of the bedside lamps/outlets went bad (light went dim and outlet stopped working). Fridge had been sprayed with stainless steel polish and not wiped down. Dishwasher isn't secured (meaning it tips forward when you try to load/unload it). I reported these issues on Sunday; nothing was actioned until Monday when I spoke to the manager, Jeremy (who is new to the property). Since then, they did a cleaning pass and picked up the missing things. I've also had trouble with the overhead light/fan in the bedroom randomly turning on, even with the remote's batteries removed. WiFi has been semi-reliable; I'm working while I'm here and sometimes it's fine, sometimes it cut in and out a few times before going stable again. Breakfast was also hit-and-miss: Sunday, some of the sliced sausage was burned to a crisp, some was fine. the rest of the week that I ate breakfast at the hotel (skipped Friday), was acceptable. Overall, I'd stay here again - hopefully, they have some of these minor things worked out and the stay is better next time.

I usually like the Homewood Suites brand, but my stay at the Perimeter location was disappointing. The hotel feels run down and is in need of upgrades—older beds, an outdated AC system, worn carpets, and aging elevators. On a positive note, the service was excellent across the board, from maintenance to the breakfast team, and the room was clean. Unfortunately, due to the overall condition of the property, I wouldn’t stay at this location again.

While the location is in a safe area with plenty to do near by, I will not be staying here again. While the workers do say the right things, they don’t look happy to work there. The worst part of our multi night stay was room. The door lock was broken, the toilet paper holder was falling over, the sinks were dirty, and we actually had bugs in the bathroom. While I mentioned these things at checkout, the worker said they would look into it but I’m sure nothing was done about it.

We got into the area at midnight from a twelve hour road trip. We checked into the hotel we had booked and it was the most disgusting place I’ve ever seen. We stayed because we were exhausted but we fled early in the morning. We walked into this hotel with no reservation and haggard and upset and Tatiana at the front desk took such good care of us! She checked us in immediately. Let us have breakfast. And the place is just beautiful. The breakfast was delicious. The room is stunning. SO clean. And it’s like an apartment. It had everything. The pool and work out room are awesome. But again Tatiana as the first face and first kind soul we came across was just great. From top to bottom we enjoyed our stay here. Thanks Tatiana!
