This property offers spacious, modern suites with abundant amenities and frequently attentive service from enthusiastic staff members who go out of their way for guests. However, the property suffers from serious cleanliness and management issues, including severe maintenance of guest rooms and inconsistent front desk protocols during shift changes.
We stayed at this hotel for a cheer competition. I drove 16 hours straight through the night with 2 kids all the way from Boston. At check in I ran into issues with my cards (my banks fault). I was so tired from the drive and stressed and the staff went completely out of their way to help me out. They took total care of us! Helped me clear up issues with my card(s) with reassurance and patiences and got us into our room fast. They were so kind and friendly, it was exactly what I needed in that moment. They also had a welcome banner for the Cheerleaders competing, free Gatorade and Waters for them, even made them a photo backdrop with balloons AND free goodie bags for each athlete. My daughters felt so special! It was such a sweet surprise we were not expecting. And finally, the room. I'll be honest, I picked this hotel because it was the cheapest option. I did not expect how BIG, spacious and beautiful our room would be. We got the 2 bed cause there is 3 of us and we walked into basically a large apartment ALL TO OURSELVES. 3 TV's, one in every room! My bedroom had doors I could close so I got the best sleep (not having to hear my daughters fight lol) and 2 full bathrooms which meant my daughters even got their own! The living room and kitchen area was huge and had everything we needed. My only complaint... that we couldn't stay longer! We were ready to move in! I hope we get to come back here for competition next year so we have something to look forward to!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience thanks to Deveney, the hotel manager. His customer service was truly exceptional from start to finish. He was professional, attentive, and genuinely caring, making sure every detail of our stay was handled with excellence. Deveney went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable. He addressed any questions promptly, maintained a warm and positive attitude, and demonstrated outstanding leadership throughout the hotel. It’s rare to encounter someone who takes such pride in delivering top-tier service.
Reservation was made by my work place, so I called 2 hrs before (~5pm) I checked in to make sure the reservation was under my name, worker on the phone confirmed they had the reservation in my name with my workplace and the address. I get there around 6:30pm and no one can find the reservation and they say there was a shift change and whoever I talked to on the phone isn't here anymore. I call HR with my work place and they said it's confirmed and I should have a reservation under my name, front desk calls the manger and they said they'll make a whole new reservation, I won't be charged and they'll reach out to my employer tomorrow to "smooth things out". They use my credit card, tell me they are holding $5 and it'll be refunded possibly tomorrow when I check out. I get to my room and fall asleep. At around 2am I'm abruptly awakened by 2 people banging on my door over and over. I'm terrified bc I'm alone with no measure to protect myself. I'm shaking from fear and super disoriented as I just woke up from sleep. The people outside are shouting they are police and to open the door but the peep hole is so dirty I literally cannot see anything. I ask them if it's ok if I can call front desk to confirm they are who they say they are and they get frustrated and impatient with me saying "you can clearly see we're police" which made me more pressured and scared. My hands are shaking at this point and can barely find the number to the front desk and they confirm it's police. I open the door and they are looking for "Shannon L.", my name is "Sharon L.". The hotel charged another customer on file who lives in another state with a similar name as me and Shannon called the police for a charge on her card or a check in notification for my room tonight. What?? How do you make this kind of mistake. 1. I was not even supposed to be charged, 2. I gave them my card which they made me tap to be on file, 3. My name with the correct spelling is on my card, 4. I had my driver's license out ready to give them at check in and they didn't ask for it so I put it away, 5. When the police came how do you just give them my room number instead of checking if there was an error on their part. This is unacceptable. The police stormed to my room, pounded on the door, and interrogated me. I tried going back to sleep after as I have to go to work and be on my A game (I work in the operating room, I'm sleeping at this hotel due to inclement weather and needed to be closer to the hospital), but I can't even go back to sleep because I have so much adrenaline pumping through my veins from how traumatized I was. I called front desk again after the police left to get an explanation and there had been another shift change and the new front desk told me sorry I'm just walking into this. I totally understand it's not his fault but at every shift change there is no communication and the consequences are escalating each time and it's so frustrating being told one thing and another happening. I broke out into stress hives. During check out this morning another shift change happened and I had begged the front desk last night to tell the new front desk what had happened and he reassured me he would but the new front desk didn't know anything and was about to charge me for the room. I filled her in on what happened and she said she can't find a reservation under my name so they're going to not check me out and hold my card until they can figure this out with my employer. I'm still shaken up and sleep deprived and have hives all over my body. This was the worst and most inappropriate hotel management experience I have ever encountered.
We stayed at this hotel for 10 days, and those were truly amazing days. Everything was very comfortable and convenient. The front desk staff are extremely kind, friendly, and always welcoming with a smile. We especially loved the Christmas decorations at the front desk — thank you for creating such a cozy little corner with beautiful holiday décor. There is also complimentary coffee available at the front desk. We stayed in a two-level room, which was very convenient. On the second floor, there was a bathroom with a bathtub and a large bed. On the first floor, there was also a bathroom with a bathtub, a bed, and a toilet. We were especially happy to have a washing machine and a dryer in the room — absolutely perfect for a long-term stay. We also loved the small wooded area nearby, which makes you feel like you’re surrounded by nature. The hotel’s location is very convenient: a large shopping mall, restaurants, and excellent road connections are all close by, making it easy to get anywhere. We will definitely stay at this hotel every time we return to Atlanta. Highly recommended. No drawbacks at all — only major advantages.
Great stay! We booked a 1 bedroom & it was perfect. Front desk lady, Alicee, was awesome! Always there when we needed anything. The location was great & the room was super clean, quiet & spacious. It was set up well so we had plenty of room to spread out & relax. I wish the kitchen had a few more pans, more like some casserole dishes so we could warm food in the oven & they need potholders. Very minor though. Excellent for the price, location & space. Would definitely stay again.
I had an amazing experience staying at this property. I would definitely recommend. The customer service was top notch, the staff takes the time out to ensure that customers are satisfied. I must also comment on the condition of the room, it was cozy and in an immaculate condition. The property was very quiet as well.
PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This place was OFFENSIVELY dirty! Pubic hair and dead skin cells in the tub dirty. The receptionist was extremely inappropriate when speaking with me at check in and made it clear that this was not a regular hotel stay, staying it runs like an apartment and they have parties. It was shocking that he was being this open, but that's what happens when people get too comfortable and everyone keeps booking because of these LIE reviews! It was unbelievable how deceitful it was coming from another state to that--a complete disappointment.
This place only deserves one star ONLY because it’s in a good area and the lay out is nice. Other than that the place is horrible. The complex seemed nice until you get toward the back and that’s where it looks a little dirty. Upon entering the room we were attacked with this horrible smell of smoke/weed and cigarettes. The room was disgusting. The stairs, carpet, even the bedding were stained. Old toilet paper and paper towels from previous guests were left in the room. There was a dusty “unused roll under the sink” there was weird little hairs and dead skin cells in the bath tub/showers and in the bathrooms. Things weren’t properly wiped down or sanitized. We ended up getting things to clean the room and it was absolutely disgusting and unsettling to see the filth we were seeing while cleaning up. We had to buy air fresheners for the room and that was a temporary fix. The vents were disgusting, the walls had visible dirt on them and then to top it all off, we found bugs upstairs. Beetles and roaches. This place was extremely disappointing. Don’t fall for the pictures. This place was horrible and smelly.
My kids and I have enjoyed our stay, but most importantly Ricky Rose has been the most amazing guest experience. He made sure we were comfortable with our room and from the first meet he was friendly, professional, and made me feel so welcomed! I would recommend this hotel, but specifically Ricky for being such an amazing person. The general manager was also very helpful to us. A big thanks to them both! Great staff and great experience.
My stay was great. No much to complain about . Front desk service was excellent. The Island guy I forgot his name I think it’s Riki or something like that but he has such a warm spirit. His accent was my favorite I’d listen to him talk again. My husband and I loves his humor and sarcasm . Wonderful staff . I’d take him away to be my manager at our business In Panama City beach. We need customers service representatives like him on this side of town
