Guests report severe hygiene issues and maintenance failures, including visible mold, bed bugs, and torn furniture, that negatively impact the stay. Despite these major issues, the hot breakfast receives consistent praise.
At first glance, everything was great, but our room was in SERIOUS need of a deep cleaning. Greasy handprints on the walls and headboard, thick dust on several surfaces, badly stained curtains, greasy tv remote, mysterious drip marks... Just really gross. At least the bedding was clean. On the positive side, the hot breakfast is quite good.
I had a 3-night stay. For the first night I was in a room at the very end of the hall in the corner where there was no internet service. I had to go up to front desk about 3 or 4 times to communicate the issue, request another room, and continue to follow up on the move. I was accommodated. Two nights were very noisy with power washing, grass cutting, and truck delivery. Outside of these things, service was decent.
I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this Comfort Inn. From the moment I arrived, the experience was unpleasant. The receptionist at the lobby was very rude and not helpful at all, which immediately set a negative tone for my stay. Things only got worse when I got to my room. The room was filthy, with visible mildew, ripped furniture, and stains on the bedspread. The restroom was the worst I have seen in my life! It was clear that proper cleaning and maintenance had been neglected for some time. Overall, this was far below the standard I expected. I hope management takes these issues seriously and makes the necessary improvements. I would not recommend staying here.
Bed Bugs! We left this disgusting hotel - keep reading. Our first room the TV didn’t have sound, the hair dryer didn’t work and the fridge wouldn’t close all the way. They moved us to another room and this one was gross. It smelled like smoke when we entered. The place was dirty with stains everywhere. Ripped fabric. Burns and holes in the sheets. The building is rotting by the door. All of this we could have dealt with until we went to get into bed and I felt something hard inside the comforter at the top of the bed by the pillows. I opened up the sheets and this gross sticky bed bug trap was FULL of bed bugs! That was the final straw. The only good thing I can say is the staff was friendly and was helpful in us getting a refund from Priceline. They did say they are renovating the rooms. I think they need to burn this place down.
I was not happy with my stay this weekend. The room was too expensive for the rooms to be in the condition it was . The rooms smelled like mold . The carpet was extremely dirty , to the point that the carpet needs to be ripped off the floor . I would not recommend walking barefoot in these rooms . The lamps in the room weren’t very clean . The toilets had cracks . On a positive note I will say the bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. They offer breakfast but don’t do a great job of keeping things like cutlery and plates consistently available . I personally would not stay here again . I also would recommend choice not support a hotel like this as I have never stayed in a comfort inn or a hotel by choice in this condition.!
Upon trying to check into this hotel I let them know that I had a service dog and gave them my service dog letter from my therapist and psychiatrist and I was IMMEDIATELY denied and had my reservations cancelled by the lady behind the desk. In the last 15years this is my second service dog that is trained in multiple areas of support, alert and assistance. I have never had any issues with any hotel and or choice hotels for that matter ; with me being a member I usually go for choice hotels. After driving for hours to get to this location because it was close to where I needed to be to take a state certification test I had to leave and parallel park at some nearby parking spots so I could not only calm down but figure out where I was going to go. I was given no assistance as far as nearby hotels or anything. No customer service whatsoever. I also ended up finding another choice hotel and had no issues. I was given a list of nearby restaurants as well as told about the restaurant next door that will offer a 15% discount. I will definitely be contacting the General Manager and Corporate for the Sandy Springs Perimeter location.
Do not stay here. This was the most disgusting hotel I ever stayed in! The room smelled of mold. Curtains and floor looked like they haven’t been cleaned in years. There was mold all in the bathroom and on the floor by the fridge. The lights were dark and the TV did not work. The shower had a large crack that was glued together. The ONLY good thing about the room is the shower got hot and it had great water pressure (if you can stand getting in the tub). Would not recommend staying here at all!!! They need to be tore down immediately!
