The Aloft Atlanta Perimeter Center consistently receives positive feedback, particularly regarding the friendly and helpful staff, notably Jay and Tierra, who are frequently praised for their warmth and attentiveness. However, recent reviews highlight issues with inconsistent housekeeping, particularly regarding cleanliness and maintenance, along with occasional unprofessional behavior from front desk staff.

Aloft Hotel – Front Desk Review During my stay at Aloft, I had the pleasure of being assisted by Jadekiss (hope I spelled your name right) at check-in. Despite a busy lobby with many guests arriving at the same time, she maintained a positive attitude and greeted everyone with a genuine smile. She handled our room check-in efficiently while also helping other guests who were waiting. What stood out most was her ability to stay calm, friendly, and attentive even while managing the front desk by herself during a rush. That level of customer service is rare, and it made a real difference in our arrival experience. Jadekiss is a true asset to the Aloft team. Thank you for making us feel welcome.

It was certainly a pleasure checking in as Chase did an amazing job. She has graded us each day and made us feel apart of the hotel. The room was clean and everyone has provided good service.

My stay at Aloft Atlanta Perimeter Center was genuinely pleasant. The hotel has a fun, modern personality, but it’s also calm and comfortable—perfect after a long day. My room was clean and inviting, and the bed made it easy to unwind. The staff - especially Michael - were kind and attentive, which made the experience feel even better. I loved being close to everything in the Perimeter area without dealing with too much chaos. I left feeling rested and well taken care of.

Upon arrival I was greeted by a young girl working. She verified my identity, and card information I had on file for payment. She asked for a card for incidentals. I asked did it have to be the same card, and she said, no. I provided a different card, and specified “this is for incidentals only, not the full amount”, and she said okay. I also asked for a late check out, which the last time as a Marriott rewards member I was offered it for free, she told me it would be $50. I was given room 106. When entering you could clearly see sticky stains on the floor which was an indication that the room wasn’t cleaned properly. So for my comfort, I had to clean the room although I just paid almost $500 for my stay. The shower door was broken, and not repaired properly, and the paint on the toilet handle was chipping. I then noticed she didn’t charge my card on file for the stay. She charged my “incidental only” card, and when contacting the front desk, a guy told me he would only be able to refund the incidental fee even after me explaining that, that card was the card for my rent payment and it would highly inconvenience me. So instead of being able to focus on my daughter’s Cardiology Specialist appointment which I drove 9 hours for, I had to Google banks, and drive and make transfers to avoid any issues. In room 106 it’s down the hall from the pool, fitness room, bar, and lobby. We had to endure loud yelling and laughing from the bar and pool table until late hours. Out of three nights housekeeping only came once. Changed towels, and made the bed with the same sheets and covers. No sweeping, mopping, cleaning, or replenishing toilet paper. I had to go, and ask front desk for some toilet paper after midnight. He was very polite. When checking out, another man was working, and he didn’t even look up from his computer screen to greet me and not even once checking me out. All in all, they dropped the ball with this one. It’s usually my go to Hotel for my daughter specialist appointments, so much so, that I used to book through third party sites then stopped and joined Marriott rewards and booked directly through the company. I even have my family and friends booking with this location. Usually it’s clean, quiet, and safe, which is all very important to me. There is usually no issues. Maybe it’s different employees. I didn't see any of the usuals. I don't know, but unfortunately I’d have to think hard if I’d stay here again after this visit, and we’re due to come again later this month.

The service in general is good, the waitresses and reception staff are very attentive, and the hotel is beautiful and modern. However, I had an unpleasant experience last Saturday, February 28, 2026, with the receptionist on duty that afternoon. The alarms went off, and I came down from the 7th floor, where I was staying, very frightened because the fire or emergency alarms had been going off for several minutes. She was on the phone, and when she saw me, she kept making fun of me. I asked her what was happening, but she couldn't answer because she was laughing so hard, and I was scared. So I asked again why the alarms were going off. She wouldn't put down her phone; on the contrary, she started telling the person she was talking to how funny I looked coming down in a panic because of the alarms. I found it disrespectful, unprofessional, and apathetic—even offensive—to make fun of the guests. I didn't want to let this detail go unnoticed, as it's a minor inconvenience because the hotel and the other staff are extremely friendly and provide excellent service. Don't let people with that kind of behavior lower your quality standards and ratings.

Had an amazing stay this weekend. Jay was not only hilarious and relatable, but also offered amazing information on what attractions and restaurants were nearby. The room itself was beautiful, equipped with a very comfortable king sized bed and a beautiful layout.

Jay the front desk guy was absolutely fantastic during my stay! He was helpful, patient, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. It makes a big difference especially for my first stay here! I also want to give credit to the chef for serving great meals and to the cleaning staff for keeping everything spotless. The whole team at the Aloft by Marriott made my stay feel easy and enjoyable! Will definitely be coming again!

I can’t say enough great things about Jay at the front desk. Every interaction was friendly helpful and sincere! Jay made me feel welcomed from the moment me and my wife came in for check in and all throughout our stay. They helped with directions, local tips, and overall had a very good spirit throughout our conversations. Very wonderful hotel will be recommending to close friends!

This is one of the favorite Alofts I have stayed at. The service and staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and very clean. I am traveling with my wife and puppy and they both loved it too. Special shoutout to Jay who made us all feel very welcome during the check-in process, especially after arriving very late in the night. Cannot recommend this hotel and area enough, especially if passing through on a road-trip!

This is a nice, quirky looking hotel. Staff is super friendly. Michael at the front desk is great. Great breakfast sandwiches in the morning. Rooms are no nonsense and beds are comfortable. Clean hotel. Lobby is a great hang-out spot.
